Cygnus will be showcasing for the very first time its new, 100% wireless, EN 54 certified, SmartNet-100 system, alongside its original SmartNet-Pro solution at London Build Expo 2023 on stand E52.
The Cygnus Group will be exhibiting its SmartNet range at London Build 2023, the UK’s leading construction and design show, 15th – 16th November at Olympia, London.
Earlier this year, Cygnus launched its ground-breaking SmartNet system, the world first EN 54 certified and 100% wireless fire alarm and detection system. For the first time, it offered the sector a fully wireless system, which is quick and easy to install, and can be scaled effectively from small to large installations, as well as being ideal for retrofit applications. Leading on from the success of SmartNet-Pro, Cygnus has launched SmartNet-100 for small to medium sized projects.
“After recently launching our SmartNet-100 range, we’re looking forward to introducing the fully wireless solution at London Build Expo for the first time alongside SmartNet-Pro,” said Bradley Markham, Director and Shareholder at Cygnus Group. "SmartNet-100 allows for a maximum of 100 devices on the network making it ideal for small to medium size projects, that do not require the scalability of SmartNet-Pro. These projects often cannot afford the downtime, the disruption, or the expense of fitting a wired fire detection and alarm system, but SmartNet-100 answers these requirements with a fast and cost-effective solution."
SmartNet-Pro and SmartNet-100 both feature patented Cygnus technology and are up to twenty times faster to install than other systems and rapidly detects and alerts users to signs of smoke or fire, whilst also being resilient to false alarms. Both the systems provide a reliable and robust solution with no need for wired boosters, translators, or any other wired element, which removes the often stressful first fix stage of an installation. They have also both received the ‘Made in Britain’ collective mark.
The Cygnus team will also be on-hand to discuss Cygnus Academy, with the imminent launch of its new Technology and Training Centre (TTC) in Meriden, Birmingham. As well as serving as a space for innovation, the new centre also marks an expansion of the Cygnus Academy – an in-person, high specification training centre for installers seeking to learn about SmartNet.
