The Cygnus wireless mesh network is a self-forming and self-healing solution that utilises the patented Cygnus protocol to create a robust and resilient network that reliably adapts to changes within the environment.
The network provides multi path redundancy utilising innovative channel hopping technology, enabling long-range coverage and making it a highly cost-effective and flexible solution. By automatically adapting to changes within the environment, the mesh network ensures continuous system operation even in challenging environments. Our detectors combine the mesh network capability with the latest smoke and heat sensing technology to provide reliable detection, while reducing the risk of false alarms.
The Cygnus Technology is complimented with supporting Cygnus accessories, one of these is the Survey Kit which contains three bespoke detectors that installers can deploy to site to replicate the mesh network to ensure suitability of the system for the environment. The wider Cygnus Accessories assist the configuration, diagnostics and maintenance through Cygnus Config, mesh analyser and Cygnus PPU.
